  • The next update (4.1.7) will bring some improvements to recognition of tuplets and other rhythm discrepancies that occur with MIDI import. The update was already submitted and should be available sometime this week, but we can't guarantee that the bugs you've specifically encountered will be addressed in that version.

For this reason, we highly recommend that you attach at least one example MIDI file that was problematic here, and also let us know the software that exported the file. We can then address any further bugs or compatibility issues, especially since the formatting of midi documents can vary greatly between apps.

    Thanks,

Here is a link to the .mid file and an image of the imported (16th triplets)results.https://www.mediafire.com/folder/ndd7z2k2pqtb7/Symphony
    exported from Logic 9.
Imports fine to other apps.for instance Multitrack studio for iPad or Reflow for iPad or iPod/iPhone. Notation cannot import correctly. Same problem as Symphony for iPad and iPod/iPhone.

  • We appreciate the example file. Unfortunately, the errors you described still remain in the latest update (4.1.7) available yesterday, but we've recently addressed them, particularly with 16th note triplets not being recognized properly. You can expect more accurate import of shorter note values in general in the next version as well.
  • Great Thanks, I await the next update.
