Text at bottom of page

I noticed that when I try to create text too close to the bottom of the page, the page jumps to the top and the text box is added to the subsequent page. Is this intentional?

    I would assume that there are page margins, even if we can't see them. (It might be nice if there was a way to see them, or have a VERY light outline.)

    But anyway, if you get too close to the bottom margin, I can understand it putting it on the next page.
