Requesting and listing feature requests
Other than sending an e-mail, is there a better way to handle feature requests? A forum topic of feature requests would eventually become overwhelming. Or is there a way to make a "sticky" of feature requests that you've received, or a FAQ, so that people know that the feature has been asked for?
Some apps have a "voting" feature where suggestions can be promoted...a cool idea, but you never know if the suggestions are heard.
Anyway...love the app, love the update, and am really thankful for the program.

I want to use this opportunity to add two feature requests:
-) It‘s about exporting the scores. I‘d be happy if the export settings would remember the e-mail-adress and this ist not only because mine is a bit longer.
-) And it would also be nice to export them into the app itself so that the user can copy it via iTunes‘ app tab. (I suppose you know the opportunity to move files via iTunes into some apps. E.g. Keynote, Pages support this feature.)0 -

Those features will be in the next update however the export to the device itself feature will be rather limited. It will most likely only support MIDI, MusicXML, PDF, LilyPond, and Symphony files at first and in then possibly MP3 and AAC in the future.
Also we know that the import from URL is quite cumbersome so we're also working on letting you import files from iTunes instead.0 -
remembering the e-mail-address is a great idea
i send a new version to myself so often (e.g. mp3/aac for playback test in pc, pdf for score printing)
please consider this. thanks.0 -
Hello,
I just bought this wonderful app for my iPad, and it's really cool: it's exactly what I was looking for to type my scores in the subway!
I would like to suggest the following improvements:
1. remembering e-mail address for exporting (cf. snoopyw's post also)
2. remembering export parameters (example: MusicXML)
3. One tap on rest inputs directly it on the score, but keeps the previous selected note on (no need to tap the keyboard to input a rest, and then select back a note duration)
I will probably have other suggestions to follow.
Thanks in advance for your consideration.
Kind regards,

Hi,
1 and 2 are already there for version 1.3.
3 seems to be a much easier way to input rests. We will consider it to be a default mode of input, or an option.
Thanks for the feedback,

Hi Phil,
Hello,
Thanks for your fast answer.
Another suggestion would be to benefit from gestures. The main difficulty in a multi touch interface compared to a mouse and click interface is that fingers are fat, and it's always a pain in the neck to tap precisely on small buttons.
4. For instance, the "undo-redo" feature is used really often. Thus, instead of (or in addition to) small buttons at the top of the screen, we could imagine that a large 1 finger swip from right to left would undo, and from left to right would redo.
5. One tap on "." or slur selects that feature only for the next insertion. A double-tap would keep it active for all coming insertions (like "shift" key for qwerty keyboard)
Thanks again for your great job. For the story, a woman stopped me in the subway to have the name of your app!
Kind regards,

By the way :
6. Possibility to choose font, and in particular, use "Jazz Font"0 -
7. is it currently possible to change the measure bars (double bar, end bar, repeat bar, etc.)? If not, it would be great to add that feature in the list.
8. is it currently possible to insert notes with different durations within a measure, e.g. a whole E, with half notes at the same time (hope I'm clear) ? if not, please add it to the feature requests list.
Kind regards,
