Double-dotting notes

I have Symphony Pro 2.2 and have just started entering my first piece of music. It requires double-dotted notes, but when I try to add an extra dot, the note reverts to an undotted one. Can someone tell me how I can do this?

Double-dotted notes aren't there yet, but will be in version 2.3 (by December).
