Exporting a score as XML file, Do’s and Don’ts
Hi there.
In the way I use SP Pro, I have to publish my scores in various formats, and very often I use xml files to share my scores with others who use different notation software.
It would be a Great help if You could publish a List of things You Cannot do when exporting a score as an xml file: Some of the features in SP Pro will Not work in xml files and cause major issues.
maybe you could add this to the Help menu??
My biggest issue is “text boxes”: the xml file produced by SP Pro will cause the xml file to Stop creating the file at the first bar that has a text box… and maybe there are more features that cause similar problems…?
Not so much of an issue as such, as long as I know what to look out for and what to avoid when sharing my scores as xml files.
