How can I record music and edit?

Hey everyone,

I've been playing the piano for almost 2 years now. I'm able to riff pretty well now and I'd like to create some songs from my free playing sessions.

I bought Symphony Pro on my iPad to connect it to my Kawai CA49 in the hopes that it would record what I'm playing and create sheet music as I played so I could come back and frankenstein my work afterwards.

Unfortunately, either it doesn't do that or I can't figure out how to do that on Symphony Pro. Does anyone have any suggestions?
