Entering notes using qwerty keyboard

I was hoping to be able to enter new notes using the qwerty keyboard, but I couldn't figure how to do it. The 'c' key didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way?

    Currently, this command only works with the input cursor & on-screen instrument open. We'll be addressing this limitation for the immediate update, and you'll be able to use this command to enter a new note to the right of the currently selected note, with the Piano/Fretboard dismissed.
