How to change the voice / layer of a note?

Maybe I missed it, but is there an easy way to change the voice / layer of notes?

This would be very convenient when one want to assign voices to notes after recording them with a MIDI keyboard.

If this is not possible, please consider this post as a highly appreciated feature request.
